Search and Read the Bible

To search for a Bible topic, a keyword or phrase, or a specific verse or passage, simply type what you’re looking for in the search box above and press or tap “enter” on your keyboard. You’ll immediately be taken to the search results page that shows all the places in the Bible where your topic, keyword, or phrase appear, or the specific Bible verse or passage text you requested. The default Bible translation is the New International Version (NIV), but if you prefer a different version, click or tap the dropdown menu next to the Bible reference and make your selection.

One of our most popular features is the ability to compare Bible passages in different versions side-by-side to gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of the passage. To activate this function, click or tap the double document circle above and to the left of the Bible book reference on the search results page.
