24 “Have you not observed what this people have spoken, saying, ‘The (A)two families which the Lord chose, He has (B)rejected them’? Thus they (C)despise My people, no longer are they as a nation [a]in their sight. 25 Thus says the Lord, ‘If My (D)covenant for day and night stand not, and the [b]fixed patterns of heaven and earth I have (E)not established, 26 then I would (F)reject the [c]descendants of Jacob and David My servant, [d]not taking from his [e]descendants (G)rulers over the [f]descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But I will (H)restore their [g]fortunes and will have (I)mercy on them.’”
