Israel’s Taunt

14 When the Lord will ^(A)have compassion on Jacob and again ^(B)choose Israel, and settle them in their own land, then ^(C)strangers will join them and attach themselves to the house of Jacob.

Israel Restored

²⁵ Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Now I will ^[a](A)restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on the whole ^(B)house of Israel; and I will be ^(C)jealous for My holy name.

⁷ But I will have ^(A)compassion on the house of Judah and ^(B)deliver them by the Lord their God, and will not deliver them by ^(C)bow, sword, battle, horses or horsemen.”
