³⁷ Then King Sennacherib of Assyria left, went home, and lived at Nineveh.

³ So Jonah set out and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly large city, a three days’ walk across.

² “Go at once to Nineveh, that great city, and cry out against it, for their wickedness has come up before me.”^(A)

⁴¹ The people of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the proclamation of Jonah, and indeed something greater than Jonah is here!^(A)

¹¹ From that land he went into Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth-ir, Calah, and ¹² Resen between Nineveh and Calah; that is the great city.
