^3 (A)O you who put far away the day of disaster
    ^(B)and bring near the seat of violence?

¹⁴ The Lord will enter into judgment
    with the ^(A)elders and princes of his people:
“It is you who ^(B)have devoured^[a] the vineyard,
    ^(C)the spoil of the poor is in your houses.
¹⁵ What do you mean by ^(D)crushing my people,
    by grinding the face of the poor?”
declares the Lord God of hosts.

¹⁰     Can I forget any longer the treasures^[a] of wickedness in the house of the wicked,
    and the scant measure that is accursed?
¹¹ Shall I acquit the man ^(A)with wicked scales
    and with a bag of deceitful weights?
¹² Your^[b] rich men are ^(B)full of violence;
    your inhabitants ^(C)speak lies,
    and ^(D)their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
