Hebrews 6:12

that ye be not slothful, but followers of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
so that you will not be [spiritually] sluggish, but [will instead be] imitators of those who through faith [lean on God with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in His power] and by patient endurance [even when suffering] are [now] inheriting the promises.
In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises.
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
so that you won’t become lazy but will be imitators of those who inherit the promises through faith and perseverance.
This is so you won’t be lazy but follow the example of the ones who inherit the promises through faith and patience.
so that you will not become sluggish, but will be imitators of those who by their trust and patience are receiving what has been promised.
Then you would never be lazy. You would be following the example of those who had faith and were patient until God kept his promise to them.
that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience have been inheritors of the promises.
in order that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of the ones inheriting the promises through faith and patience.
That you become not slothful, but followers of them, who through faith and patience shall inherit the promises.
We don’t want you to be lazy. We want you to be like those who, because of their faith and patience, will get what God has promised.
Then you will not be slow to learn. Instead, you will copy the example of those people who continue to trust God. They continue to be patient when trouble happens to them. People like that receive what God has promised to his people.
Our goal is that you would not become lazy but imitators of those who inherited the promise through faith and patient endurance.
so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
We do not want you to become ·lazy [sluggish; C in contrast to diligent; v. 11]. Be ·like [L imitators of] those who through faith and ·patience [endurance] will ·receive [inherit] what God has promised.
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them, which through faith and patience, inherit the promises.
Then, instead of being lazy, you will imitate those who are receiving the promises through faith and patience.
We do not want you to become lazy, but to be like those who believe and are patient, and so receive what God has promised.
so that you won’t become lazy but will be imitators of those who inherit the promises through faith and perseverance.
We do not want you to become lazy. Be like those who have faith and patience. They will receive what God has promised.
Then, instead of being lazy, you will imitate those who are inheriting the promises through faith and patience.
But although we give these words of warning we feel sure that you, whom we love, are capable of better things and will enjoy the full experience of salvation. God is not unfair: he will not lose sight of all that you have done nor of the loving labour which you have shown for his sake in looking after fellow-Christians (as you are still doing). It is our earnest wish that every one of you should show a similar keenness in fully grasping the hope that is within you. We do not want any of you to grow slack, but to follow the example of those who through sheer patient faith came to possess the promises.
that ye not become slothful, but imitators of those who by faith and patience inherit the promises.
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
that ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
so that you may not become dull, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
in order that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who inherit the promises through faith and patience.
Then, knowing what lies ahead for you, you won’t become bored with being a Christian nor become spiritually dull and indifferent, but you will be anxious to follow the example of those who receive all that God has promised them because of their strong faith and patience.
I’m sure that won’t happen to you, friends. I have better things in mind for you—salvation things! God doesn’t miss anything. He knows perfectly well all the love you’ve shown him by helping needy Christians, and that you keep at it. And now I want each of you to extend that same intensity toward a full-bodied hope, and keep at it till the finish. Don’t drag your feet. Be like those who stay the course with committed faith and then get everything promised to them.
so that you may not be lazy, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
so that you will not be lazy, but imitators of those who by faith and perseverance inherit the promises.
Then, instead of being lazy, you will imitate those who are receiving the promises through faith and patience.
so that you may not become sluggish, but imitators of those who, through faith and patience, are inheriting the promises.
so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and endurance inherit the promises.
so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
We do not want you to allow yourselves to become sluggish; rather, we want you to become imitators of those who through faith and patience are now heirs of the promises.
We do not want you to become lazy. Be like those who through faith and patience will receive what God has promised.
so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance inherit the promises.
We don’t want you to slow down. Instead, be like those who have faith and are patient. They will receive what God promised.
We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Do not be lazy. Be like those who have faith and have not given up. They will receive what God has promised them.
Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance.
that you faint not, but follow those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
so that you may not become sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
so that you may not become sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
so that you may not become sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
so that you may not become sluggish but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
You mustn’t become lazy. There are people who are inheriting the promises through faith and patience, and you should be copying them!
That you not become atzlanit (sluggards) but imitators of the ones who through Emunah and zitzfleisch (patience) inherit the havtachot (promises).
so that you are not slothful but followers of those who, through faith and patience, inherit the promises.
so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
so you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those inheriting the promises through trust and perseverance.
and not grow lazy. We want you to walk in the footsteps of the faithful who came before you, from whom you can learn to be steadfast in pursuing the promises of God.
that you won’t be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance inherited the promises.
Do not give up. But be like the people who get what God has promised. They believe God and keep on believing for a long time.
that ye be not made slow, but also followers of them, which by faith and patience shall inherit the promises.
that ye may not become slothful, but followers of those who through faith and patient endurance are inheriting the promises.
