He has punished you, Jerusalem, holy city, because of the deeds of your hands.
And I and my soul will rejoice in him.
Jerusalem, Holy City of our God, he will punish you for the sins of your people, but he will be merciful to all who do right.
Jerusalem, holy city, he will afflict you for the works of your hands, but will again pity the children of the righteous.
