Then she let them down by a cord through the window, for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall.

Rahab’s house was built into the city wall, so she used a rope to let the men down through a window.
So Rahab put a rope out through the window of her house. (The house that she lived in was part of the city wall.) The men climbed down the rope.

Then Rahab lowered them by a rope through the window, for her home was set into the wall where she lived.
So she let them down by a rope from her window since her house was built into the city wall. (She lived in the city wall.)

And she causeth them to go down by a rope through the window, for her house [is] in the side of the wall, and in the wall she [is] dwelling;
