What shall I say? He hath both spoken unto me, and Himself hath done it. I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
“What shall I say? For He has spoken to me, and He Himself has done it; I will wander aimlessly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
But what can I say? For He has both spoken to me and He Himself has done it. I must go softly [as in solemn procession] all my years and my sleep has fled because of the bitterness of my soul.
What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
What can I say? He has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. I walk along slowly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
What can I say? God has spoken to me; he himself has acted. I will wander my whole life with a bitter spirit.
“What is there that I can say? He has spoken to me and acted! I will go humbly all my years, remembering how bitter I was.
There's nothing I can say in answer to you, since you are the one who has done this to me. My life has turned sour; I will limp until I die.
What shall I say? He hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done [it]. I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
What shall I say, or what shall he answer for me, whereas he himself hath done it? I will recount to thee all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
What can I say? He told me what would happen, and he will make it happen. I have had these troubles in my soul, so now I will be humble all my life.
I do not know what I can say. The Lord has told me what must happen. He has done what he decided to do. I will live quietly for the rest of my life, because I am very sad and upset.
What can I say? He has spoken to me, and he is the one to act. I will march slowly throughout all my years, because my heart is bitter.
What shall I say? For he has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. I walk slowly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
What shall I say? For he has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. I walk slowly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
What can I say? ·The Lord told me what would happen and then made it happen [L He spoke to me and he did it]. I will ·be humble [wander about; shuffle along; walk slowly] all my ·life [years] because of ·these troubles in [the bitterness of] my soul.
What shall I say, for he hath said it to me, and he hath done it: I shall walk weakly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
What can I say now that he has spoken to me? He has done this. I will be careful the rest of my life because of my bitter experience.
What can I say? The Lord has done this. My heart is bitter, and I cannot sleep.
What can I say? He has spoken to me, and He Himself has done it. I walk along slowly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul,
What can I say? The Lord told me what would happen and then made it happen. I have had these troubles in my soul. So now I will be humble all my life.
What can I say, so I tell myself, since he has done this to me? I will walk slowly all my years because of my soul’s anguish.
What shall I say? He has both spoken unto me, and he himself has done it; I shall walk softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
“What shall I say? Indeed, He has spoken to me, and He Himself has done it; I will wander about all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
What can I say? For he has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. I will walk slowly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
But what can I say? For he himself has sent this sickness. All my sleep has fled because of my soul’s bitterness.
This is what Hezekiah king of Judah wrote after he’d been sick and then recovered from his sickness: In the very prime of life I have to leave. Whatever time I have left is spent in death’s waiting room. No more glimpses of God in the land of the living, No more meetings with my neighbors, no more rubbing shoulders with friends. This body I inhabit is taken down and packed away like a camper’s tent. Like a weaver, I’ve rolled up the carpet of my life as God cuts me free of the loom And at day’s end sweeps up the scraps and pieces. I cry for help until morning. Like a lion, God pummels and pounds me, relentlessly finishing me off. I squawk like a doomed hen, moan like a dove. My eyes ache from looking up for help: “Master, I’m in trouble! Get me out of this!” But what’s the use? God himself gave me the word. He’s done it to me. I can’t sleep— I’m that upset, that troubled.
What shall I say? For He has spoken to me, and He Himself has done it. I shall wander about all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
What can I say now that he has spoken to me? He has done this. I will be careful the rest of my life because of my bitter experience.
What am I to say or tell him? He is the one who has done it! All my sleep has fled, because of the bitterness of my soul.
“What shall I say? For He has spoken to me, and He Himself has done it; I will walk quietly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
“What shall I say? For He has spoken to me, and He Himself has done it; I will wander about all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
Yet how can I complain? What should I say? He himself has done this. I will wander aimlessly for the rest of my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
What can I say? The Lord told me what would happen and then made it happen. I have had these troubles in my soul, so now I will be humble all my life.
What can I say? He has decreed and acted. I will walk slowly all my years because I am overcome with grief.
“But what can I say? You have promised to heal me. And you yourself have done it. Once I was proud and bitter. But now I will live the rest of my life free of pride.
But what can I say? He has spoken to me, and he himself has done this. I will walk humbly all my years because of this anguish of my soul.
But what can I say? He has spoken to me, and he himself has done this. I will walk humbly all my years because of this anguish of my soul.
“What shall I say? He has both spoken to me, And He Himself has done it. I shall walk carefully all my years In the bitterness of my soul.
“But what can I say? For He has spoken to me, and He Himself has done it. I will walk with care all my years because my soul is bitter.
But what could I say? For he himself sent this sickness. Now I will walk humbly throughout my years because of this anguish I have felt.
But what can I say? For he has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. All my sleep has fled because of the bitterness of my soul.
But what can I say? For he has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. All my sleep has fled because of the bitterness of my soul.
But what can I say? For he has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. All my sleep has fled because of the bitterness of my soul.
But what can I say? For he has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. All my sleep has fled because of the bitterness of my soul.
What shall I say? He hath both promised me, and Himself hath done it; I shall walk quietly all my shanot in the mar (bitterness) of my nefesh.
‘What shall I say? For He has said it to me, and He has done it. I shall walk weakly in the bitterness of my soul all my years.
But what can I say? For he has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. All my sleep has fled because of the bitterness of my soul.
But what can I say? For he has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. All my sleep has fled because of the bitterness of my soul.
What should I say? For He has spoken to me— He Himself has done it! I will wander about all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
But what can I say? God has spoken to me. Things are as He made them. So I am determined to go slowly, make the most of my years, even though I am bitter to the core.
What will I say? He has both spoken to me, and himself has done it. I will walk carefully all my years because of the anguish of my soul.
what shall I say, either what shall he answer to me, when he hath done (this)? I shall bethink to thee all my years, in the bitterness of my soul. (what shall I say, or what shall he answer to me, when he himself hath done this? I shall think about thee all my years, in the bitterness of my soul.)
-- What do I say? seeing He said to me, And He Himself hath wrought, I go softly all my years for the bitterness of my soul.
