And Leah said, “God hath given me my hire, because I have given my maiden to my husband.” And she called his name Issachar [that is, A hire].
And Leah said, God hath given me my hire, because I gave my handmaid to my husband: and she called his name Issachar.
Then Leah said, “God has given me my reward because I have given my maid to my husband.” So she named him Issachar.
Leah said, God has given me my hire, because I have given my maid to my husband; and she called his name Issachar [hired].
And Leah said, God hath given me my hire, because I have given my maiden to my husband: and she called his name Issachar.
Leah said, “God has rewarded me for giving my slave to my husband,” and she named him Issachar.
Leah said, “God gave me what I paid for, what I deserved for giving my servant to my husband.” So she named him Issachar.
Le’ah said, “God has given me my hire, because I gave my slave-girl to my husband.” So she called him Yissakhar [hire, reward].
Leah shouted, “God has rewarded me for letting Jacob marry my servant,” and she named the boy Issachar.
And Leah said, God has given me my hire, because I have given my maidservant to my husband; and she called his name Issachar.
And said: God hath given me a reward, because I gave my handmaid to my husband. And she called his name Issachar.
She said, “God has given me a reward because I gave my slave to my husband.” So she named her son Issachar.
Leah said, ‘God has helped me because I gave my servant to Jacob as a wife.’ She called her son Issachar.
Leah said, “God has given me the wages I deserve, because I gave my servant girl to my husband.” So she named him Issachar.
Leah said, “God has given me my wages because I gave my servant to my husband.” So she called his name Issachar.
Leah said, “God has given me my wages because I gave my servant to my husband.” So she called his name Issachar.
and said, “God has given me what I ·paid for [bought; hired], because I gave my slave girl to my husband.” So Leah named her son Issachar [C sounds like “paid for” in Hebrew].
Then said Leah, God hath given me my reward, because I gave my maid to my husband, and she called his name Issachar.
Leah said, “God has given me my reward because I gave my slave to my husband.” So she named him Issachar [Reward].
Leah said, “God has given me my reward, because I gave my slave to my husband”; so she named her son Issachar.
Leah said, “God has rewarded me for giving my slave to my husband,” and she named him Issachar.
Leah said, “God has given me what I paid for, because I gave my slave girl to my husband.” So Leah named her son Issachar.
Then Leah said, “God has paid me for giving my servant to my husband as his wife.” So she named him Issachar.
And Leah said, God has given me my hire, because I have given my maiden to my husband; and she called his name Issachar.
And Leah said, God hath given me my hire, because I have given my maiden to my husband: and she called his name Issachar.
And Leah said, God hath given me my hire, because I have given my maiden to my husband: and she called his name Issachar.
And Leah said, “God has given me my wages because I gave my servant-woman to my husband.” So she named him Issachar.
Then Leah said, “God has given me my wage since I gave my servant girl to my husband.” And she called his name Issachar.
She named him Issachar (meaning “Wages”), for she said, “God has repaid me for giving my slave girl to my husband.”
When Jacob came home that evening from the fields, Leah was there to meet him: “Sleep with me tonight; I’ve bartered my son’s mandrakes for a night with you.” So he slept with her that night. God listened to Leah; she became pregnant and gave Jacob a fifth son. She said, “God rewarded me for giving my maid to my husband.” She named him Issachar (Bartered). Leah became pregnant yet again and gave Jacob a sixth son, saying, “God has given me a great gift. This time my husband will honor me with gifts—I’ve given him six sons!” She named him Zebulun (Honor). Last of all she had a daughter and named her Dinah.
Leah said, “God has given me my reward because I have given my maid to my husband.” So she called his name Issachar.
Leah said, “Elohim has given me my reward because I gave my slave to my husband.” So she named him Issachar [Reward].
Leah then said, “God has given me my wages for giving my maidservant to my husband”; so she named him Issachar.
Then Leah said, “God has given me my reward, because I gave my slave to my husband.” So she named him Issachar.
Then Leah said, “God has given me my wages because I gave my maid to my husband.” So she named him Issachar.
Leah said, “God has rewarded me for having given my slave to my husband.” This is why she named him Issachar.
and said, “God has given me what I paid for, because I gave my slave girl to my husband.” So Leah named her son Issachar.
Then Leah said, “God has granted me a reward because I gave my servant to my husband as a wife.” So she named him Issachar.
Then Leah said, “God has rewarded me because I gave my female servant to my husband.” So she named the boy Issachar.
Then Leah said, “God has rewarded me for giving my servant to my husband.” So she named him Issachar.
Then Leah said, ‘God has rewarded me for giving my servant to my husband.’ So she named him Issachar.
Leah said, “God has given me my wages, because I have given my maid to my husband.” So she called his name Issachar.
Leah said, “God has given me my pay because I gave my husband the woman who serves me.” So she gave him the name Issachar.
She named him Issachar, for she said, “God has rewarded me for giving my servant to my husband as a wife.”
Leah said, ‘God has given me my hire because I gave my maid to my husband’; so she named him Issachar.
Leah said, ‘God has given me my hire because I gave my maid to my husband’; so she named him Issachar.
Leah said, “God has given me my hire because I gave my maid to my husband”; so she named him Issachar.
Leah said, “God has given me my hire because I gave my maid to my husband,” so she named him Issachar.
And Leah said, Elohim hath given me my hire, because I have given my shifchah to my ish; and she called shmo Yissakhar.
Then Leah said, “God has given me my reward, because I gave my maid to my husband.” And she called his name, Issachar.
Leah said, “God has given me my hire because I gave my maid to my husband”; so she called his name Is′sachar.
Leah said, “God has given me my hire because I gave my maid to my husband”; so she called his name Is′sachar.
Leah said, “God gave me my reward because I gave my female servant to my husband.” So she named him Issachar.
Leah: God has paid me my wages, since I gave my servant to my husband. This is why she named her son Issachar.
Leah said, “God has given me my hire, because I gave my servant to my husband.” She named him Issachar.
and said, God hath given meed to me, for I gave mine handmaid to mine husband; and she called his name Issachar. (and she said, God hath rewarded me, for I gave my slave-girl to my husband; and so she named him Issachar.)
and Leah saith, `God hath given my hire, because I have given my maid-servant to my husband;' and she calleth his name Issachar.
