Next David defeated Zobah’s King Hadadezer, Rehob’s son, as Hadadezer was on his way to put his monument along the Euphrates River.
David, on his way to establish his dominion as far as the Euphrates River, also defeated Hadad‘ezer the son of Rechov king of Tzovah.
David set out for the Euphrates River to build a monument there. On his way, he defeated the king of Zobah, whose name was Hadadezer the son of Rehob.
And David smote Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his dominion by the river Euphrates.
David defeated also Adarezer the son of Rohob king of Soba, when he went to extend his dominion over the river Euphrates.
David went to an area near the Euphrates to set up a monument for himself. At that time he defeated the king of Zobah, Hadadezer son of Rehob.
David also won a battle against Rehob's son, Hadadezer, king of Zobah. This happened when Hadadezer took his army to the Euphrates river to show that he had authority there.
David also defeated Hadadezer son of Rehob, king of Zobah, when he went to restore his control at the river Euphrates.

When David went to restore his control ⌞over the territory⌟ along the Euphrates River, he defeated Zobah’s King Hadadezer, son of Rehob.
Then he defeated the king of the Syrian state of Zobah, Hadadezer son of Rehob, as Hadadezer was on his way to restore his control over the territory by the upper Euphrates River.
David also defeated Hadadezer son of Rehob, king of Zobah, who went to restore his control at the Euphrates River.
As David went to take control again at the Euphrates River, he defeated Hadadezer. Hadadezer son of Rehob was king of Zobah.
David also attacked King Hadadezer, Rehob’s son from Zobah, when he was attempting to restore his hegemony over the Euphrates River.

He also destroyed the forces of King Hadadezer (son of Rehob) of Zobah in a battle at the Euphrates River, for Hadadezer had attempted to regain his power.
On his way to restore his sovereignty at the River Euphrates, David next defeated Hadadezer son of Rehob the king of Zobah. He captured from him a thousand chariots, seven thousand cavalry, and twenty thousand infantry. He hamstrung all the chariot horses, but saved back a hundred.
David also defeated Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, when he went to restore his authority over the River Euphrates.
When David went to restore his control over the territory along the Euphrates River, he defeated Zobah’s King Hadadezer, son of Rehob.
