And it was told Joab, Behold, the king weepeth and mourneth for Absalom.
It was told to Joab, “Behold, the king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.”
It was told Joab, Behold, the king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.
And it was told Joab, Behold, the king weepeth and mourneth for Absalom.
It was reported to Joab, “The king is weeping. He’s mourning over Absalom.”
Joab was told that the king was crying and mourning Absalom.
Trembling, the king went up to the room over the gate, weeping and crying, “Oh, my son Avshalom! My son! My son Avshalom! If only I had died instead of you! Oh, Avshalom, my son, my son!”
Someone told Joab, “The king is crying because Absalom is dead.”
And it was told Joab, Behold, the king weeps and mourns for Absalom.
And it was told Joab, that the king wept and mourned for his son:
People told Joab what had happened, “Look, the king is crying and mourning for Absalom.”
Someone told Joab that the king was very sad and he was weeping because Absalom was dead.
Joab was told, “The king is weeping and mourning over Absalom.”
It was told Joab, “Behold, the king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.”
It was told Joab, “Behold, the king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.”
People told Joab, “Look, the king is ·sad [mourning] and crying ·because of [for] Absalom.”
7 Joab encourageth the king. 8 David is restored. 23 Shimei is pardoned. 24 Mephibosheth meeteth the king. 39 Barzillai departeth. 41 Israel striveth with Judah. And it was told Joab, Behold, the King weepeth and mourneth for Absalom.
Joab was told, “The king is crying and mourning for Absalom.”
Joab was told that King David was weeping and mourning for Absalom.
It was reported to Joab, “The king is weeping. He’s mourning over Absalom.”
People told Joab, “Look, the king is crying. He is very sad because of Absalom.”
Someone informed Joab, “The king is weeping bitterly, mourning for Absalom.”
¶ And it was told Joab, Behold, the king weeps and mourns for Absalom.
And it was told Joab, Behold, the king weepeth and mourneth for Absalom.
And it was told Joab, Behold, the king weepeth and mourneth for Absalom.
Then it was told to Joab, “Behold, the king is weeping and mourns for Absalom.”
And it was told to Joab that the king was weeping and he mourned over Absalom,
Word soon reached Joab that the king was weeping and mourning for Absalom.
Joab was told that David was weeping and lamenting over Absalom. The day’s victory turned into a day of mourning as word passed through the army, “David is grieving over his son.” The army straggled back to the city that day demoralized, dragging their tails. And the king held his face in his hands and lamented loudly, O my son Absalom, Absalom my dear, dear son!
It was reported to Joab that the king was weeping and mourning over Absalom.
Joab was told, “The king is crying and mourning for Absalom.”
The king was shaken, and went up to the room over the city gate and wept. He said as he wept, “My son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom! If only I had died instead of you, Absalom, my son, my son!”
Then it was reported to Joab, “Behold, the king is weeping and he mourns for Absalom.”
Then it was told Joab, “Behold, the king is weeping and mourns for Absalom.”
Word was brought to Joab: “The king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.”
People told Joab, “Look, the king is sad and crying because of Absalom.”
(19:2) Joab was told, “The king is weeping and mourning over Absalom.”
Someone told Joab, “The king is weeping and mourning for Absalom. He’s filled with sadness because his son has died.”
Joab was told, “The king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.”
Joab was told, ‘The king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.’
And Joab was told, “Behold, the king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.”
Then Joab was told, “See, the king is crying. He is filled with sorrow for Absalom.”
Word soon reached Joab that the king was weeping and mourning for Absalom.
It was told Joab, ‘The king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.’
It was told Joab, ‘The king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.’
It was told Joab, “The king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.”
It was told Joab, “The king is weeping and mourning for Absalom.”
And it was told Yoav, Hinei, HaMelech weepeth and mourneth for Avshalom.
And it was told to Joab, “Behold, the king weeps and mourns for Absalom.”
It was told Jo′ab, “Behold, the king is weeping and mourning for Ab′salom.”
It was told Jo′ab, “Behold, the king is weeping and mourning for Ab′salom.”
The king was shaken. So he went up to the chamber over the gate and wept. As he walked he cried, “My son Absalom! O my son, my son Absalom! If only I had died instead of you! Absalom, my son, my son!”
Joab heard the news that David was weeping and mourning for Absalom,
Joab was told, “Behold, the king weeps and mourns for Absalom.”
Forsooth it was told to Joab, that the king wept, and bewailed his son;
And it is declared to Joab, `Lo, the king is weeping and mourning for Absalom;'
