But he that lacketh these things is blind and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
For he that lacketh these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.
For whoever lacks these qualities is blind—shortsighted [closing his spiritual eyes to the truth], having become oblivious to the fact that he was cleansed from his old sins.
For whoever lacks these qualities is blind, [spiritually] shortsighted, seeing only what is near to him, and has become oblivious [to the fact] that he was cleansed from his old sins.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
The person who lacks these things is blind and shortsighted and has forgotten the cleansing from his past sins.
Whoever lacks these things is shortsighted and blind, forgetting that they were cleansed from their past sins.
Indeed, whoever lacks them is blind, so shortsighted that he forgets that his past sins have been washed away.
But if you don't grow, you are like someone who is nearsighted or blind, and you have forgotten that your past sins are forgiven.
for he with whom these things are not present is blind, short-sighted, and has forgotten the purging of his former sins.
For the one in whom these qualities are not present is blind, being shortsighted, having forgotten the purification of his former sins.
For he that hath not these things with him, is blind, and groping, having forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
But those who don’t grow in these blessings are blind. They cannot see clearly what they have. They have forgotten that they were cleansed from their past sins.
But some people do not live in these good ways. They do not think that these things are important. They are like blind people. They cannot really see anything properly. They have forgotten that God has made them clean from all the sins that they did in past times.
Indeed, the person who lacks these qualities is shortsighted and, in fact, blind, because he has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins.
For whoever lacks these qualities is so short-sighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins.
·But [or For] anyone who does not have these things ·cannot see clearly [is nearsighted]. He is blind [1 John 2:11; Rev. 3:17] ·and [or because he] has forgotten that he was made clean from his past sins.
For he that hath not these things, is blind, and cannot see far off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
If these qualities aren’t present in your life, you’re shortsighted and have forgotten that you were cleansed from your past sins.
But if you do not have them, you are so shortsighted that you cannot see and have forgotten that you have been purified from your past sins.
The person who lacks these things is blind and shortsighted and has forgotten the cleansing from his past sins.
But if anyone does not have these things, he cannot see clearly. He is blind. He has forgotten that he was made clean from his past sins.
For the person who lacks these qualities is blind and shortsighted, and has forgotten the cleansing that he has received from his past sins.
If you have these qualities existing and growing in you then it means that knowing our Lord Jesus Christ has not made your lives either complacent or unproductive. The man whose life fails to exhibit these qualities is short-sighted—he can no longer see the reason why he was cleansed from his former sins.
But he that lacks these things is blind and walks feeling the way with his hand, having forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
For in whom these things are not present, that one is blind, being nearsighted, having forgotten the purification from his former sins.
For the one for whom these things are not present is blind, being nearsighted, having forgotten the cleansing of his former sins.
But anyone who fails to go after these additions to faith is blind indeed, or at least very shortsighted and has forgotten that God delivered him from the old life of sin so that now he can live a strong, good life for the Lord.
So don’t lose a minute in building on what you’ve been given, complementing your basic faith with good character, spiritual understanding, alert discipline, passionate patience, reverent wonder, warm friendliness, and generous love, each dimension fitting into and developing the others. With these qualities active and growing in your lives, no grass will grow under your feet, no day will pass without its reward as you mature in your experience of our Master Jesus. Without these qualities you can’t see what’s right before you, oblivious that your old sinful life has been wiped off the books.
But the one who lacks these things is blind and shortsighted because he has forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins.
For the one who does not have these qualities is blind; he is nearsighted, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his past sins.
If these qualities aren’t present in your life, you’re shortsighted and have forgotten that you were cleansed from your past sins.
Anyone who lacks them is blind and shortsighted, forgetful of the cleansing of his past sins.
For the one who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.
For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.
For anyone who lacks them is near-sighted or blind, since he has forgotten how his past sins were washed away.
But anyone who does not have these things cannot see clearly. He is blind and has forgotten that he was made clean from his past sins.
But concerning the one who lacks such things—he is blind. That is to say, he is nearsighted, since he has forgotten about the cleansing of his past sins.
But what if these things don’t describe someone at all? Then that person can’t see very well. In fact, they are blind. They have forgotten that their past sins have been washed away.
But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.
But whoever does not have them is short-sighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.
For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
But if you do not have these things, you are blind and cannot see far. You forget God saved you from your old life of sin.
But those who fail to develop in this way are shortsighted or blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their old sins.
But he who lacks these things is blind, and gropes for the way with his hands, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
For anyone who lacks these things is short-sighted and blind, and is forgetful of the cleansing of past sins.
For anyone who lacks these things is short-sighted and blind, and is forgetful of the cleansing of past sins.
For anyone who lacks these things is short-sighted and blind, and is forgetful of the cleansing of past sins.
For anyone who lacks these things is blind, suffering from eye disease, forgetful of the cleansing of past sins.
Someone who doesn’t have these things, in fact, is so short-sighted as to be actually blind, and has forgotten what it means to be cleansed from earlier sins.
For the one with whom these middos chasidus (qualities of piety) are not present is an ivver (blind man), being shortsighted, having forgotten the tohorah (cleansing) of his past averos.
For the one who does not have these things is blind and short-sighted and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
For whoever lacks these things is blind and shortsighted and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
For whoever lacks these things is blind and shortsighted and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
But anyone who lacks these qualities is blind—nearsighted because he has forgotten his cleansing from past sins.
but if you don’t have these qualities, then you will be nearsighted and blind, forgetting that your past sins have been washed away.
For he who lacks these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.
But the man who does not do these things is like a blind man. He can see only a little way. He has forgotten that he was made clean from the wrong things he used to do.
But to whom these be not ready, he is blind, and gropeth with his hand, and forgetteth the purging of his old trespasses.
for he with whom these things are not present is blind, dim-sighted, having become forgetful of the cleansing of his old sins;
