2 Corinthians 1:13
Print
For we write no other things unto you than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end,
For we write no other things unto you, than what ye read or even acknowledge, and I hope ye will acknowledge unto the end:
For we write you nothing other than what you read and understand [there is no double meaning in what we say]. And I hope you will [accurately] understand [divine things] until the end;
For we write you nothing else but simply what you can read and understand [there is no double meaning to what we say], and I hope that you will become thoroughly acquainted [with divine things] and know and understand [them] accurately and well to the end,
For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;
For we are writing nothing to you other than what you can read and also understand. I hope you will understand completely—
We don’t write anything to you except what you can read and also understand. I hope that you will understand totally
There are no hidden meanings in our letters other than what you can read and understand; and my hope is that you will understand fully,
I am not writing anything you cannot read and understand. I hope you will understand it completely,
For we do not write other things to you but what ye well know and recognise; and I hope that ye will recognise to the end,
For we are writing no other things to you other than the things which you read or indeed understand. And I hope that you will understand until the end—
For we write no other things to you than what you have read and known. And I hope that you shall know unto the end:
We write to you only what you can read and understand. And I hope you will fully understand,
We are writing to you only about things that you yourselves can read and understand. And I hope that you will understand completely one day.
In fact, we are not writing you anything other than what you read or also understand. And I hope you will understand completely—
For we are not writing to you anything other than what you read and understand and I hope you will fully understand—
For we are not writing to you anything other than what you read and acknowledge and I hope you will fully acknowledge—
We write to you ·only what you can read and understand [or in a clear and straightforward manner]. And I hope that as you have understood ·some things [part of the situation; L in part] about us, you may come to ·know everything [understand fully] about us [C some of Paul’s previous contacts and correspondence had produced misunderstanding or conflict; 2:1]. Then you can ·be proud [boast] of us, as we will ·be proud [boast] of you on the day ·our Lord Jesus Christ comes again [L of our Lord Jesus Christ; C judgment day].
For we write none other things unto you, than that ye read or else that ye acknowledge, and I trust ye shall acknowledge unto the end.
We are only writing you what you already knew before you read this. I hope you will understand this as long as you live,
We write to you only what you can read and understand. But even though you now understand us only in part, I hope that you will come to understand us completely, so that in the Day of our Lord Jesus you can be as proud of us as we shall be of you.
Now we are writing nothing to you other than what you can read and also understand. I hope you will understand completely—
For we write to you only what you can read and understand. And I hope that
For what we are writing you is nothing more than what you can read and also understand. I hope you will understand completely,
Now it is a matter of pride to us—endorsed by our conscience—that our activities in this world, particularly our dealings with you, have been absolutely above-board and sincere before God. They have not been marked by any worldly wisdom, but by the grace of God. Our letters to you have no double meaning—they mean just what you understand them to mean when you read them. We hope you will always understand these letters (as we believe you have already understood the purpose of our lives), and realise that you can be as honestly proud of us as we shall be of you on the day when Christ reveals all secrets.
For we write no other things unto you than what ye read or also know, and I trust ye shall know them even to the end
For we write none other things unto you, that what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;
For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;
For we write nothing else to you than what you read and understand, and I hope you will understand until the end,
For we are not writing anything else to you except what you can read or also understand. But I hope that you will understand completely,
My letters have been straightforward and sincere; nothing is written between the lines! And even though you don’t know me very well (I hope someday you will), I want you to try to accept me and be proud of me as you already are to some extent; just as I shall be of you on that day when our Lord Jesus comes back again.
Now that the worst is over, we’re pleased we can report that we’ve come out of this with conscience and faith intact, and can face the world—and even more importantly, face you with our heads held high. But it wasn’t by any fancy footwork on our part. It was God who kept us focused on him, uncompromised. Don’t try to read between the lines or look for hidden meanings in this letter. We’re writing plain, unembellished truth, hoping that you’ll now see the whole picture as well as you’ve seen some of the details. We want you to be as proud of us as we are of you when we stand together before our Master Jesus.
For we write nothing else to you than what you read or understand. And I trust you will understand even to the end,
Now we are not writing you anything other than what you can read and also understand. But I hope that you will understand fully,
We are only writing you what you already knew before you read this. I hope you will understand this as long as you live,
For we write you nothing but what you can read and understand, and I hope that you will understand completely,
For we write nothing else to you than what you read and understand, and I hope you will understand until the end;
For we write nothing else to you than what you read and understand, and I hope you will understand until the end;
For we write nothing to you that you cannot read and comprehend. It is my hope that you will come to understand fully,
We write to you only what you can read and understand. And I hope that as you have understood some things about us, you may come to know everything about us. Then you can be proud of us, as we will be proud of you on the day our Lord Jesus Christ comes again.
For we do not write you anything other than what you can read and also understand. But I hope that you will understand completely
We are writing only what you can read and understand. And here is what I hope.
For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand. And I hope that,
For we do not write to you anything you cannot read or understand. And I hope that,
For we are not writing any other things to you than what you read or understand. Now I trust you will understand, even to the end
We write to you only what we know you can understand. I hope you will understand everything.
Our letters have been straightforward, and there is nothing written between the lines and nothing you can’t understand. I hope someday you will fully understand us,
We write no other things to you than what you read and also know. Yea and I trust you will find us to the end
For we write to you nothing other than what you can read and also understand; I hope you will understand until the end—
For we write to you nothing other than what you can read and also understand; I hope you will understand until the end—
For we write you nothing other than what you can read and also understand; I hope you will understand until the end—
For we write you nothing other than what you can read and also understand; I hope you will understand until the end—
We are not writing anything to you, after all, except what you can read and understand. And I hope you will go on understanding right through to the end,
For we write nothing so shver (complex) to you that you cannot read and have binah (understanding), and I have tikvah that you will have da’as shlemah until HaKetz,
For we write no other things to you than what you read and understand. And I hope you shall understand even to the end,
For we write you nothing but what you can read and understand; I hope you will understand fully,
For we write you nothing but what you can read and understand; I hope you will understand fully,
For we write nothing to you other than what you can read and understand—and I hope you will understand in full
We are not writing to you in anything resembling codes or riddles; we only write those lessons you are ready to read and understand. I hope you will study them, value them, and truly understand them until the end.
For we write no other things to you than what you read or even acknowledge, and I hope you will acknowledge to the end,
Because I was sure of this, I wanted to visit you before. Then you would have had a double blessing.
And we write not other things to you, than those that ye have read and know, and I hope that into the end ye shall know,
for no other things do we write to you, but what ye either do read or also acknowledge, and I hope that also unto the end ye shall acknowledge,
