1 Corinthians 14:39
Print
Therefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak in tongues.
Wherefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
Therefore, believers, desire earnestly to prophesy [to foretell the future, to speak a new message from God to the people], and do not forbid speaking in unknown tongues.
So [to conclude], my brethren, earnestly desire and set your hearts on prophesying (on being inspired to preach and teach and to interpret God’s will and purpose), and do not forbid or hinder speaking in [unknown] tongues.
Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
So then, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
So then, brothers and sisters, use your ambition to try to get the gift of prophecy, but don’t prevent speaking in tongues.
So, my brothers, eagerly seek to prophesy; and do not forbid speaking in tongues;
My friends, be eager to prophesy and don't stop anyone from speaking languages that others don't know.
So that, brethren, desire to prophesy, and do not forbid the speaking with tongues.
So then, my brothers, be zealous-for the prophesying. And do not be forbidding the speaking in tongues.
Wherefore, brethren, be zealous to prophesy; and forbid not to speak with tongues.
So my brothers and sisters, continue to give your attention to prophesying. And don’t stop anyone from using the gift of speaking in different languages.
My Christian friends, this is what I am saying to you: It is good when you want to speak clear messages from God. And if anyone has the gift to speak in a special language, do not stop them.
So, brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
So, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
So, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
So my brothers and sisters, you should ·truly want [be eager] to prophesy. And do not ·stop people from using the gift of speaking in different kinds of languages [L forbid/hinder speaking in tongues].
Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak languages.
So, brothers and sisters, desire to speak what God has revealed, and don’t keep anyone from speaking in other languages.
So then, my friends, set your heart on proclaiming God's message, but do not forbid the speaking in strange tongues.
Therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in other languages.
So my brothers, you should truly want to prophesy. And do not stop people from using the gift of speaking in different kinds of languages.
Therefore, my brothers, desire the ability to prophesy, and do not prevent others from speaking in foreign languages.
In conclusion then, my brothers, set your heart on preaching the word of God, while not forbidding the use of “tongues”. Let everything be done decently and in order.
Therefore, brothers, earnestly pursue prophecy and do not forbid to speak with tongues.
Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
Therefore, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues.
So then, my brothers, desire to prophesy, and do not prevent speaking with tongues.
So, my fellow believers, long to be prophets so that you can preach God’s message plainly; and never say it is wrong to “speak in tongues”;
Three things, then, to sum this up: When you speak forth God’s truth, speak your heart out. Don’t tell people how they should or shouldn’t pray when they’re praying in tongues that you don’t understand. Be courteous and considerate in everything.
Therefore, brothers, eagerly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
So, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
So, brothers and sisters, desire to speak what God has revealed, and don’t keep anyone from speaking in other languages.
So, [my] brothers, strive eagerly to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues,
Therefore, my brothers and sisters, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
Therefore, my brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues.
Therefore, brethren, be eager to prophesy and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
So my brothers and sisters, you should truly want to prophesy. But do not stop people from using the gift of speaking in different kinds of languages.
So then, brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid anyone from speaking in tongues.
Brothers and sisters, you should want to prophesy. And don’t stop people from speaking in languages they had not known before.
Therefore, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
Therefore, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues.
So then, my Christian brothers, you should want to speak God’s Word. Do not stop anyone from speaking in special sounds.
So, my dear brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and don’t forbid speaking in tongues.
And so, brethren, desire to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues.
So, my friends, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues;
So, my friends, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues;
So, my friends, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues;
So, my brothers and sisters, strive to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues,
So, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and don’t forbid speaking in tongues.
So then, Achim b’Moshiach of mine, earnestly desire to speak forth a dvar hanevu’ah (word of prophecy), and do not forbid speaking in leshonot (tongues).
Therefore, brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues.
So, my brethren, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues;
So, my brethren, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues;
Therefore, brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.
So, my dear brothers and sisters, passionately desire to prophesy; but don’t ban the gift of speaking in unknown languages.
Therefore, brothers, desire earnestly to prophesy, and don’t forbid speaking with other languages.
So, my brothers, the thing you should want is to speak words from God. But at the same time, do not stop anyone from talking in tongues.
Therefore, brethren, love ye to prophesy, and do not ye forbid to speak in tongues.
so that, brethren, earnestly desire to prophesy, and to speak with tongues do not forbid;
