1 Peter 2:21

For even unto this were ye called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps,
For hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that ye should follow his steps:
For [as a believer] you have been called for this purpose, since Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you may follow in His footsteps.
For even to this were you called [it is inseparable from your vocation]. For Christ also suffered for you, leaving you [His personal] example, so that you should follow in His footsteps.
For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
You were called to this kind of endurance, because Christ suffered on your behalf. He left you an example so that you might follow in his footsteps.
Indeed, this is what you were called to; because the Messiah too suffered, on your behalf, leaving an example so that you should follow in his steps.
After all, God chose you to suffer as you follow in the footsteps of Christ, who set an example by suffering for you.
For to this have ye been called; for Christ also has suffered for you, leaving you a model that ye should follow in his steps:
For you were called to this. Because Christ also suffered for you, leaving-behind a pattern for you in order that you might follow-after His footsteps—
For unto this are you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example that you should follow his steps.
This is what you were chosen to do. Christ gave you an example to follow. He suffered for you. So you should do the same as he did:
When God chose you to be his servants, he wanted you to be brave like that. Christ had trouble and pain on your behalf. He has shown you how you should live when trouble comes.
Indeed, you were called to do this, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example so that you would follow in his steps.
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.
[L For] This is what you were called to do, because Christ suffered for you ·and gave you [leaving you] an example to follow. So you should ·do as he did [L follow in his footsteps].
For hereunto ye are called: for Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example that ye should follow his steps,
God called you to endure suffering because Christ suffered for you. He left you an example so that you could follow in his footsteps.
It was to this that God called you, for Christ himself suffered for you and left you an example, so that you would follow in his steps.
For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in His steps.
That is what you were called to do. Christ suffered for you. He gave you an example to follow. So you should do as he did.
This is, in fact, what you were called to do, because: The Messiah also suffered for you and left an example for you to follow in his steps.
Indeed this is part of your calling. For Christ suffered for you and left you a personal example, and wants you to follow in his steps. ‘Who committed no sin, nor was guile found in his mouth’. Yet when he was insulted he offered no insult in return. When he suffered he made no threats of revenge. He simply committed his cause to the one who judges fairly. And he personally bore our sins in his own body on the cross, so that we might be dead to sin and be alive to all that is good. It was the suffering that he bore which has healed you. You had wandered away like so many sheep, but now you have returned to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.
Because for this were ye called: for the Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps
For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
For to this you have been called, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example that you should follow in His steps,
For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his footsteps,
This suffering is all part of the work God has given you. Christ, who suffered for you, is your example. Follow in his steps:
This is the kind of life you’ve been invited into, the kind of life Christ lived. He suffered everything that came his way so you would know that it could be done, and also know how to do it, step-by-step. He never did one thing wrong, Not once said anything amiss. They called him every name in the book and he said nothing back. He suffered in silence, content to let God set things right. He used his servant body to carry our sins to the Cross so we could be rid of sin, free to live the right way. His wounds became your healing. You were lost sheep with no idea who you were or where you were going. Now you’re named and kept for good by the Shepherd of your souls.
For to this you were called, because Christ suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving behind for you an example so that you might follow in his footsteps.
God called you to endure suffering because Christ suffered for you. He left you an example so that you could follow in his footsteps.
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example that you should follow in his footsteps.
For you have been called for this purpose, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you would follow in His steps,
For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps,
This, in fact, is what you have been called to do, because Christ himself suffered for you and left an example for you to follow in his footsteps.
This is what you were called to do, because Christ suffered for you and gave you an example to follow. So you should do as he did.
For to this you were called, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving an example for you to follow in his steps.
You were chosen to do good even if you suffer. That’s because Christ suffered for you. He left you an example that he expects you to follow.
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
These things are all a part of the Christian life to which you have been called. Christ suffered for us. This shows us we are to follow in His steps.
For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.
For to this indeed you have been called. For Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps –
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his steps.
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his steps.
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his steps.
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his steps.
This, after all, is what came with the terms of your call, because the Messiah, too, suffered on your behalf, leaving behind a pattern for you so that you should follow the way he walked.
It was for this tachlis (purpose) [of your being osei tzedek and suffering] that you were given your kri’ah (calling), because also Moshiach suffered on behalf of you [Isa 53:5-6], leaving you a mofet (example), that you should follow be’ikvot Moshiach (in the steps of Moshiach),
For you are called to this. For Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you could follow His steps.
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
For you were called to this, because Messiah also suffered for you, leaving you an example so that you might follow in His footsteps:
For you were called to this kind of life, as Isaiah said, He did no wrong deed, and no evil word came from His mouth. The Anointed One suffered for us and left us His example so that we could follow in His steps.
For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving you an example, that you should follow his steps,
You have been called to do this because Christ also was punished for you. He showed you what you should do. So do as he did.
For to this thing ye be called. For also Christ suffered for us, and left ensample to you [leaving to you example], that ye follow the steps of him.
for to this ye were called, because Christ also did suffer for you, leaving to you an example, that ye may follow his steps,
