HANAMEL hăn’ ə mĕl (חֲנַמְאֵ֗ל, KJV HANAMEEL). The son of Shallum, the uncle of Jeremiah, from whom the prophet bought a field at Anathoth when jerusalem was besieged, to show his confidence that property would again be purchased in the land (Jer 32:6-15).
