  18. And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.
  19. And Pharaoh’s heart became hard, that he hearkened not unto them as the LORD had said.
  20. ¶ Then the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh’s heart is become grievous, for he refuses to let the people go.
  21. And the magicians of Egypt did the same with their enchantments; and Pharaoh’s heart hardened itself, and he did not hearken unto them, as the LORD had said.
  22. And Pharaoh turned and returned to his house, and even with all this he did not take this to heart.
  23. But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart and did not hearken unto them as the LORD had said.
  24. Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God. But Pharaoh’s heart hardened, and he did not hearken unto them as the LORD had said.
  25. And Pharaoh even hardened his heart this time and did not let the people go.
