All around the hem of the robe make pomegranates of violet, purple, and bright red yarn with gold bells in between—

Aaron must wear it when he serves as priest. The sound of the bells must be heard when he comes into and goes out of Yahweh’s presence in the holy place so that he won’t die.

They made bells out of pure gold and fastened them in between the pomegranates all around the hem of the robe.

On that day “Holy to Yahweh” will be written on the bells of the horses. And the cooking pots in the house of Yahweh will be like the bowls in front of the altar.
