  20. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.
  21. These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings.
  22. Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.
  23. Living as Those Made Alive in Christ

    Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
  24. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
  25. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
