  13. The Greater Glory of the New Covenant

  14. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.

  18. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
  19. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.
  20. So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
  21. because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself.

    For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.
  23. Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
  24. in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;
  25. Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
