1 Kings 14:14-16

¹⁴ Moreover, ^(A)the Lord will raise up for Himself a king over Israel who will eliminate the house of Jeroboam this day ^[a]and from now on.

¹⁵ “For the Lord will strike Israel, just as a reed sways in the water; and ^(B)He will uproot Israel from ^(C)this good land which He gave to their fathers, and ^(D)will scatter them beyond the Euphrates River, ^(E)because they have made their ^[b]Asherim, provoking the Lord to anger. ¹⁶ He will give up Israel ^(F)because of the sins of Jeroboam, which he ^[c]committed and with which he misled Israel into sin.”
