²⁶ for in Christ Jesus ^(A)you are all sons of God, through faith. ²⁷ For as many of you as ^(B)were baptized ^(C)into Christ have ^(D)put on Christ. ^28 (E)There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave^[a] nor free, ^(F)there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. ²⁹ And ^(G)if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, ^(H)heirs according to promise.

¹⁷ Therefore, if anyone is ^(A)in Christ, he is ^(B)a new creation.^{[a] (C)}The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. ¹⁸ All this is from God, ^(D)who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us ^(E)the ministry of reconciliation; ¹⁹ that is, in Christ God was reconciling^[b] the world to himself, ^(F)not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us ^(G)the message of reconciliation. ²⁰ Therefore, ^(H)we are ambassadors for Christ, ^(I)God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

¹¹ inquiring ^(A)what person or time^{[a] (B)}the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating ^(C)when he predicted ^(D)the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories. ^12 (E)It was revealed to them that ^(F)they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you ^(G)by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, ^(H)things into which angels long to look.

^7 (A)You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. ^8 (B)You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. ^9 (C)You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

2 You then, ^(A)my child, ^(B)be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, ² and ^(C)what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses ^(D)entrust to faithful men,^{[a] (E)}who will be able to teach others also.
