Mark 7:5-8

⁵ So the Pharisees^(A) and the scribes^(B) asked him, “Why don’t your disciples live^[a] according to the tradition of the elders,^(C) instead of eating bread with ceremonially unclean^[b] hands?”

⁶ He answered them, “Isaiah^(D) prophesied^(E) correctly about you hypocrites,^(F) as it is written: ^(G)

⁸ Abandoning the command of God, you hold on to human tradition.”^[d]
