⁵⁴ And so he brought them to the border of his holy land,
    to the hill country his right hand^(A) had taken.
⁵⁵ He drove out nations^(B) before them
    and allotted their lands to them as an inheritance;^(C)
    he settled the tribes of Israel in their homes.

⁴⁴ he gave them the lands of the nations,^(A)
    and they fell heir to what others had toiled^(B) for—

⁶ He has shown his people the power of his works,^(A)
    giving them the lands of other nations.^(B)
