Oluyimba nga balinnya amadaala.
120 (A)Nkoowoola Mukama nga ndi mu nnaku,
era n’annyanukula.
2 (B)Omponye, Ayi Mukama,
emimwa egy’obulimba,
n’olulimi olw’obukuusa.
3 Onooweebwa ki,
era onookolebwa otya, ggwe olulimi olukuusa?
4 (C)Onoofumitibwa n’obusaale obwogi obw’omulwanyi omuzira,
n’oyokerwa ku manda ag’omuti entaseesa.
5 (D)Ndabye ennaku, kubanga mbeera mu Meseki;
nsula mu weema za Kedali!
6 Ndudde nnyo
mu bantu abakyawa eddembe.
7 Nze njagala mirembe,
naye bwe njogera bo baagala ntalo.

2 Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
