⁴⁸ Has any of the manhigim put their emunah (faith) in him, or any of the Perushim [T.N.but cf Yn 7:50; 19:39]?

⁴⁹ But this am ha’aretz crowd has no da’as of Torah and is cursed. [DEVARIM 27:26]
