Yeremyaah 9
Somali Bible
9 Bal muu madaxaygu biyo noqdo, oo bal may indhahayguna il biyood oo ilmo daadisa noqdaan, si aan habeen iyo maalinba ugu ooyo kuwa laga laayay dadkayga! 2 Bal maan cidlada ku lahaado hoy ay socotooyinku ku dhaxaan, si aan dadkayga uga tago, oo aan iyaga uga fogaado! Waayo, iyagu dhammaantood waxay noqdeen dhillayo, iyo urur khaa'inno ah. 3 Carrabkooda ayay been ugu xoodaan sida qaanso oo kale, oo dhulkay ku xoogaysteen, runtase uma aha, waayo, sharba shar bay uga sii gudbaan, oo ima ay yaqaaniin, ayaa Rabbigu leeyahay. 4 Midkiin kastaaba deriskiisa ha iska jiro oo walaalna ha isku hallaynina, waayo, walaal kastaaba waa khaa'in, oo deris kastaaba xan buu la wareegaa. 5 Midkood kastaaba wuxuu khiyaaneeyaa deriskiisa, oo runtana kuma ay hadlaan. Waxay carrabkooda bareen inuu been ku hadlo, oo waxay isku daaliyaan inay xumaan sameeyaan. 6 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Rugtaadu waxay ku dhex jirtaa khiyaano, oo khiyaano aawadeed ayay u diidaan inay i aqoonsadaan. 7 Sidaas daraaddeed Rabbiga ciidammadu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal ogaada, iyagaan dhalaalin doonaa, waanan tijaabin doonaa, waayo, bal maxaa kaloo aan sameeyaa, dadkayga dartiis? 8 Carrabkoodu waa sida fallaadh wax dilaysa oo kale. Khiyaanuu ku hadlaa. Mid waluba deriskiisa nabad buu afka uga sheegaa, laakiinse uurka wuu uga gabbadaa. 9 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Miyaanan iyaga waxyaalahan u ciqaabayn? Miyaanse naftaydu ka aarsanayn quruun tanoo kale ah?
10 Waxaan oohin iyo baroor kor ugu qaadi doonaa buuraha aawadood, oo daaqsimaha cidladana waan u barooran doonaa, maxaa yeelay, way gubteen si aan ciduna u dhex marin. Oo ninna codkii lo'da kama maqli karo, haaddii samada iyo dugaaggiiba way carareen oo way tageen. 11 Oo waxaan Yeruusaalem ka dhigi doonaa tuulmooyin burbur ah, iyo meel ay dawacooyinku ku hoydaan. Oo magaalooyinka dalka Yahuudahna waxaan ka dhigi doonaa cidla aan ciduna degganayn. 12 Waa kuma ninka xigmadda leh oo waxan garan karaa? Oo kan Rabbiga afkiisu la hadlay inuu waxyaalahan sheegi karaa waa kuma? Bal maxaa dalku u halligmay, oo uu sidii cidlo oo kale ugu gubtay, si aan ciduna u dhex marin?
13 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Iyagu sharcigaygii aan hortooda dhigay way ka tageen, oo codkaygiina ma ay addeecin, kumana ay dhex socon, 14 laakiinse waxay iska daba galeen caasinimadii qalbigooda, iyo Bacaliim oo ay awowayaashood iyaga bareen, 15 oo sidaas daraaddeed Rabbiga ciidammada oo ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil wuxuu leeyahay, Dadkan waxaan ku quudin doonaa dacar, oo waxaan cabsiin doonaa biyo xammeetiyeed. 16 Oo iyaga waxaan ku kala dhex firdhin doonaa quruumaha iyaga iyo awowayaashood toona ayan aqoonin, oo waxaan iyaga ka daba diri doonaa seef jeeraan baabbi'iyo.
17 Rabbiga ciidammadu wuxuu leeyahay, Aad u fiirsada, oo u yeedha naagaha baroorta ha yimaadeene, waxaad u cid dirtaan naagaha aad baroorta u yaqaan ha yimaadeene. 18 Oo iyagu ha soo dhaqsadeen, oo aad ha noogu baroorteen, si ay indhahayaga ilmo uga soo daadato oo ay biyona uga soo butaacaan. 19 Waayo, waxaa Siyoon ka yeedhaya cod baroor ah oo leh, Sidee baannu u baabba'nay! Aad iyo aad baannu u ceebownay, maxaa yeelay, dalkii waannu ka tagnay, oo hoyaashayadiina waa nalaga dumiyey. 20 Dumarow, bal erayga Rabbiga maqla, oo dhegihiinnuna erayga afkiisa ha aqbaleen, oo gabdhihiinnana baroorashada bara, oo middiin kastaaba teeda kale ha barto. 21 Waayo, geeri baa daaqadahayaga nooga soo dustay, oo waxay soo gashay daarahayaga inay carruurta dibadda ka baabbi'iso, oo ay barbaarradana jidadka ka baabbi'iso. 22 Waxaad tidhaahdaa, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Dadka meydkiisu wuxuu u soo daadan doonaa sida digo berrin bannaan taal oo kale iyo sida gacan muggeed oo ka hadhay nin beer soo goostay, oo ciduna sooma ururin doonto.
23 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Kii xigmad lahu yuusan xigmaddiisa ku faanin, oo kii xoog badanuna yuusan xooggiisa ku faanin, oo kii taajir ahuna yuusan maalkiisa ku faanin, 24 laakiinse kii faanaa ha ku faano inuu i garanayo oo uu i yaqaan inaan anigu ahay Rabbiga dhulka ku sameeya raxmadda, iyo caddaaladda, iyo xaqnimada, waayo, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Waxyaalahaasaan ku farxaa. 25 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal ogaada, waxaa iman doona wakhtigii aan ciqaabi doono kuwa gudan oo uurka ka buuryaqabka ah oo dhan, 26 kuwaasoo ah reer Masar, iyo dadka Yahuudah, iyo reer Edom, iyo reer Cammoon, iyo reer Moo'aab, iyo kuwa timaha madaxa dhinac ka jara oo cidlada jooga oo dhan, waayo, quruumahaas oo dhammu waa wada buuryaqab, oo dadka Israa'iil oo dhammu xagga qalbigay buuryaqab ka yihiin.
Jeremiah 9
King James Version
9 Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!
2 Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.
3 And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the Lord.
4 Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders.
5 And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.
6 Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the Lord.
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?
8 Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait.
9 Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the Lord: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
10 For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone.
11 And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.
12 Who is the wise man, that may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of the Lord hath spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perisheth and is burned up like a wilderness, that none passeth through?
13 And the Lord saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;
14 But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:
15 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.
16 I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.
17 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come:
18 And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.
19 For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out.
20 Yet hear the word of the Lord, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation.
21 For death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the streets.
22 Speak, Thus saith the Lord, Even the carcases of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather them.
23 Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
25 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will punish all them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised;
26 Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that are in the utmost corners, that dwell in the wilderness: for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.
Jeremiah 9
New King James Version
Disobedience Brings God’s Judgment
9 Oh, (A)that my head were waters,
And my eyes a fountain of tears,
That I might weep day and night
For the slain of the daughter of my people!
2 Oh, that I had in the wilderness
A lodging place for travelers;
That I might leave my people,
And go from them!
For (B)they are all adulterers,
An assembly of treacherous men.
3 “And like their bow (C)they have bent their tongues for lies.
They are not valiant for the truth on the earth.
For they proceed from (D)evil to evil,
And they (E)do not know Me,” says the Lord.
4 “Everyone(F) take heed to his [a]neighbor,
And do not trust any brother;
For every brother will utterly supplant,
And every neighbor will (G)walk with slanderers.
5 Everyone will (H)deceive his neighbor,
And will not speak the truth;
They have taught their tongue to speak lies;
They weary themselves to commit iniquity.
6 Your dwelling place is in the midst of deceit;
Through deceit they refuse to know Me,” says the Lord.
7 Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts:
“Behold, (I)I will refine them and [b]try them;
(J)For how shall I deal with the daughter of My people?
8 Their tongue is an arrow shot out;
It speaks (K)deceit;
One speaks (L)peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth,
But [c]in his heart he [d]lies in wait.
9 (M)Shall I not punish them for these things?” says the Lord.
“Shall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?”
10 I will take up a weeping and wailing for the mountains,
And (N)for the [e]dwelling places of the wilderness a lamentation,
Because they are burned up,
So that no one can pass through;
Nor can men hear the voice of the cattle.
(O)Both the birds of the heavens and the beasts have fled;
They are gone.
11 “I will make Jerusalem (P)a heap of ruins, (Q)a den of jackals.
I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.”
12 (R)Who is the wise man who may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of the Lord has spoken, that he may declare it? Why does the land perish and burn up like a wilderness, so that no one can pass through?
13 And the Lord said, “Because they have forsaken My law which I set before them, and have (S)not obeyed My voice, nor walked according to it, 14 but they have (T)walked according to the [f]dictates of their own hearts and after the Baals, (U)which their fathers taught them,” 15 therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “Behold, I will (V)feed them, this people, (W)with wormwood, and give them [g]water of gall to drink. 16 I will (X)scatter them also among the Gentiles, whom neither they nor their fathers have known. (Y)And I will send a sword after them until I have consumed them.”
The People Mourn in Judgment
17 Thus says the Lord of hosts:
“Consider and call for (Z)the mourning women,
That they may come;
And send for skillful wailing women,
That they may come.
18 Let them make haste
And take up a wailing for us,
That (AA)our eyes may run with tears,
And our eyelids gush with water.
19 For a voice of wailing is heard from Zion:
‘How we are plundered!
We are greatly ashamed,
Because we have forsaken the land,
Because we have been cast out of (AB)our dwellings.’ ”
20 Yet hear the word of the Lord, O women,
And let your ear receive the word of His mouth;
Teach your daughters wailing,
And everyone her neighbor a lamentation.
21 For death has come through our windows,
Has entered our palaces,
To kill off (AC)the children—[h]no longer to be outside!
And the young men—[i]no longer on the streets!
22 Speak, “Thus says the Lord:
‘Even the carcasses of men shall fall (AD)as refuse on the open field,
Like cuttings after the harvester,
And no one shall gather them.’ ”
23 Thus says the Lord:
(AE)“Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his (AF)might,
Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
24 But (AG)let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, [j]judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
(AH)For in these I delight,” says the Lord.
25 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “that (AI)I will punish all who are circumcised with the uncircumcised— 26 Egypt, Judah, Edom, the people of Ammon, Moab, and all who are in the (AJ)farthest corners, who dwell in the wilderness. For all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are (AK)uncircumcised in the heart.”
