¹⁴ for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

^34 (A)Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For ^(B)some have no knowledge of God. ^(C)I say this to your shame.

¹¹ Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you ^(A)to wake from sleep. ^(B)For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.

²¹ So the servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house became angry and said to his servant, ‘Go out quickly to the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in ^(A)the poor and crippled and blind and lame.’ ²² And the servant said, ‘Sir, what you commanded has been done, and still there is room.’ ²³ And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.

⁴⁰ And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, “So, could you not watch with me one hour? ^41 (A)Watch and ^(B)pray that you ^(C)may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
