Canten y ensalcen a nuestro rey

47 Al maestro del coro. De los hijos de Coré. Salmo.
Pueblos, batan palmas todos juntos;
aclamen a Dios con gritos de júbilo
porque el Señor Altísimo es admirable,
es el gran rey de la tierra entera.
Él nos somete a los pueblos,
las naciones pone a nuestros pies.
Él escogió nuestra heredad,
la gloria de Jacob, su amado. [ Pausa]
Dios asciende entre aclamaciones,
el Señor entre sones de trompeta.
Canten y ensalcen a Dios,
canten y ensalcen a nuestro rey.
Dios es rey de la tierra entera,
¡cántenle ustedes un himno!
Dios reina sobre las naciones,
Dios se sienta en su santo trono.
10 Los nobles de los pueblos se reúnen
junto con el pueblo del Dios de Abrahán;
pues a Dios pertenecen los reyes de la tierra,
a Dios cuya grandeza es inmensa.

Psalm 47[a]

For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.

Clap your hands,(A) all you nations;
    shout to God with cries of joy.(B)

For the Lord Most High(C) is awesome,(D)
    the great King(E) over all the earth.
He subdued(F) nations under us,
    peoples under our feet.
He chose our inheritance(G) for us,
    the pride of Jacob,(H) whom he loved.[b]

God has ascended(I) amid shouts of joy,(J)
    the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.(K)
Sing praises(L) to God, sing praises;
    sing praises to our King, sing praises.
For God is the King of all the earth;(M)
    sing to him a psalm(N) of praise.

God reigns(O) over the nations;
    God is seated on his holy throne.(P)
The nobles of the nations assemble
    as the people of the God of Abraham,
for the kings[c] of the earth belong to God;(Q)
    he is greatly exalted.(R)

God Is King over All the Earth

47 All you peoples, clap your hands.[b]
Shout to God with a voice of rejoicing.
For Yahweh Most High is awesome,[c]
a great king over all the earth.
He subdues peoples under us
and nations under our feet.
He chooses for us our inheritance,
the pride of Jacob whom he loves.
God has gone up with a shout,
Yahweh with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises.
Sing praises to our king, sing praises.
For God is king of all the earth.
Sing praises with understanding.[d]
God reigns over nations;
God sits on his holy throne.
The princes of the peoples are gathered together
with the people of Abraham’s God.
For the shields of the earth belong to God.
He is very exalted.
