Salmo de David.
29 Tributad al Señor, oh hijos de los poderosos[a],
tributad al Señor gloria y poder(A).
2 Tributad al Señor la gloria debida a[b] su nombre;
adorad al Señor en la majestad de la santidad[c](B).
3 Voz del Señor(C) sobre las aguas.
El Dios de gloria truena(D),
el Señor está sobre las muchas aguas(E).
4 La voz del Señor es poderosa(F),
la voz del Señor es majestuosa.
5 La voz del Señor rompe los cedros;
sí, el Señor hace pedazos los cedros del Líbano(G);
6 y como becerro hace saltar al Líbano(H);
y al Sirión como cría de búfalo(I).
7 La voz del Señor levanta[d] llamas de fuego.
8 La voz del Señor hace temblar el desierto;
el Señor hace temblar el desierto de Cades(J).
9 La voz del Señor hace parir a las ciervas[e](K),
y deja los bosques desnudos,
y en su templo todo dice: ¡Gloria(L)!
10 El Señor se sentó como Rey cuando el diluvio(M);
sí, como Rey se sienta el Señor para siempre(N).
11 El Señor dará[f] fuerza a su pueblo(O);
el Señor bendecirá[g] a su pueblo con paz(P).

Ascribe to the Lord Glory
A Psalm of David.
29 Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings,[a]
(A)ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in (B)the splendor of holiness.[b]
3 The voice of the Lord is over (C)the waters;
the God of glory (D)thunders,
the Lord, over many waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is (E)powerful;
the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks (F)the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes Lebanon to (G)skip like a calf,
and (H)Sirion like a young (I)wild ox.
7 The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness;
the Lord shakes the wilderness of (J)Kadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord makes (K)the deer give birth[c]
and strips the forests bare,
and in his temple all cry, “Glory!”
10 The Lord sits enthroned over (L)the flood;
the Lord sits enthroned (M)as king forever.
11 May the Lord give (N)strength to his people!
May the Lord bless[d] his people with (O)peace!

Psalm 29
A psalm of David.
1 Ascribe to the Lord,(A) you heavenly beings,(B)
ascribe to the Lord glory(C) and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of his[a] holiness.(D)
3 The voice(E) of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory(F) thunders,(G)
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.(H)
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful;(I)
the voice of the Lord is majestic.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.(J)
6 He makes Lebanon leap(K) like a calf,
Sirion[b](L) like a young wild ox.(M)
7 The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.(N)
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.(O)
9 The voice of the Lord twists the oaks[c](P)
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”(Q)
