El reino del Ungido del Señor
2 ¿Por qué se sublevan las naciones[a](A),
y los pueblos traman cosas vanas(B)?
2 Se levantan los reyes de la tierra(C),
y los gobernantes traman unidos
contra el Señor(D) y contra su Ungido[b](E), diciendo:
3 ¡Rompamos sus cadenas[c](F)
y echemos de nosotros sus cuerdas!
4 Él que se sienta como Rey en los cielos se ríe(G),
el Señor se burla de ellos(H).
5 Luego les hablará en su ira(I),
y en su furor los aterrará(J), diciendo:
6 Pero yo mismo he consagrado[d] a mi Rey(K)
sobre Sión, mi santo monte(L).
7 Ciertamente anunciaré el decreto del Señor
que me dijo[e]: «Mi Hijo eres tú,
yo te he engendrado hoy(M).
8 Pídeme, y te daré(N) las naciones[f] como herencia tuya(O),
y como posesión tuya los confines de la tierra(P).
9 Tú los quebrantarás[g] con vara[h] de hierro(Q);
los desmenuzarás como vaso de alfarero(R)».
10 Ahora pues, oh reyes, mostrad discernimiento(S);
recibid amonestación, oh jueces[i] de la tierra.
11 Adorad[j] al Señor con reverencia[k](T),
y alegraos con temblor(U).
12 Honrad[l] al Hijo(V) para que no se enoje y perezcáis en el camino,
pues puede inflamarse de repente su ira.
¡Cuán bienaventurados son todos los que en Él se refugian(W)!

El reino del ungido de Jehová
2 ¿Por qué se amotinan las gentes,
Y los pueblos piensan cosas vanas?
2 Se levantarán los reyes de la tierra,
Y príncipes consultarán unidos
Contra Jehová y contra su ungido,(A) diciendo:
3 Rompamos sus ligaduras,
Y echemos de nosotros sus cuerdas.
4 El que mora en los cielos se reirá;
El Señor se burlará de ellos.
5 Luego hablará a ellos en su furor,
Y los turbará con su ira.
6 Pero yo he puesto mi rey
Sobre Sion, mi santo monte.
7 Yo publicaré el decreto;
Jehová me ha dicho: Mi hijo eres tú;
Yo te engendré hoy.(B)
8 Pídeme, y te daré por herencia las naciones,
Y como posesión tuya los confines de la tierra.
9 Los quebrantarás con vara de hierro;(C)
Como vasija de alfarero los desmenuzarás.
10 Ahora, pues, oh reyes, sed prudentes;
Admitid amonestación, jueces de la tierra.
11 Servid a Jehová con temor,
Y alegraos con temblor.
12 Honrad al Hijo, para que no se enoje, y perezcáis en el camino;
Pues se inflama de pronto su ira.
Bienaventurados todos los que en él confían.

2 Why do the Goyim rage, and the Amim (peoples) imagine a vain thing?
2 The Malchei Eretz rise up in rebellion, and the rulers take counsel together against Hashem and against His Moshiach, saying,
3 Let us break their chains asunder, and cast away their fetters from us.
4 He that sitteth enthroned in Shomayim laughs; Adonoi hath them in derision.
5 Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath, and distress them in His hot displeasure.
6 I have set Malki (My King) upon Tziyon, My Har Kodesh.
7 I will declare the chok (decree): Hashem hath said unto me, Thou art Beni (My Son, i.e. Ben HaElohim Moshiach); HaYom (today) I have begotten thee.
8 Ask of Me, and I shall give thee the Goyim for thine nachalah, and the uttermost parts of ha’aretz for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt rule them with a shevet barzel; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
10 Have seichel now therefore, O ye Melachim; be warned, ye Shoftei Aretz.
11 Serve Hashem with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Bar (Ben, Son, [see Hebrew Mishlei 31:2; Ben HaElohim Moshiach; see 2:2,7, above]), lest he be angry, and ye perish from the Derech, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Ashrei are all they that take refuge in him [Moshiach].
