Bienaventuranza del que teme a Dios

Cántico de ascenso gradual.

128 Bienaventurado todo aquel que teme al Señor(A),
Que anda en Sus caminos(B).
2 Cuando comas(C) del trabajo de tus manos(D),
Dichoso serás y te irá bien(E).
3 Tu mujer será como fecunda vid(F)
En el interior de tu casa;
Tus hijos como plantas de olivo(G)
Alrededor de tu mesa.
4 Así será bendecido el hombre
Que teme al Señor.
5 ¶El Señor te bendiga(H) desde Sión(I),
Veas la prosperidad de Jerusalén todos los días de tu vida,
6 Y veas a los hijos de tus hijos(J).
¡Paz sea sobre Israel(K)!

Bienaventurado serás, y te irá bien.

3 Tu mujer será como vid que lleva fruto a los lados de tu casa;

Tus hijos como plantas de olivo alrededor de tu mesa.

4 He aquí que así será bendecido el hombre

Que teme a Jehová.

5 Bendígate Jehová desde Sion,

Y veas el bien de Jerusalén todos los días de tu vida,

6 Y veas a los hijos de tus hijos.

Paz sea sobre Israel.

1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord,(A)
    who walk in obedience to him.(B)
2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;(C)
    blessings and prosperity(D) will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine(E)
    within your house;
your children(F) will be like olive shoots(G)
    around your table.
4 Yes, this will be the blessing(H)
    for the man who fears the Lord.(I)

5 May the Lord bless you from Zion;(J)
    may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem(K)
    all the days of your life.
6 May you live to see your children’s children—(L)
    peace be on Israel.(M)

A song for those who go up to Jerusalem to worship the Lord.

128 Blessed are all those who have respect for the Lord.
    They live as he wants them to live.
2 Your work will give you what you need.
    Blessings and good things will come to you.
3 As a vine bears a lot of fruit,
    so may your wife have many children by you.
May they sit around your table
    like young olive trees.
4 Only a man who has respect for the Lord
    will be blessed like that.

5 May the Lord bless you from Zion.
    May you enjoy the good things that come to Jerusalem
all the days of your life.
6     May you live to see your grandchildren.

May Israel enjoy peace.
