Palabra de Dios para Todos
Vamos al templo del Señor
Canto de David para los peregrinos.
1 Me sentí muy feliz cuando me dijeron:
«Vamos al templo del SEÑOR».
2 Y aquí estamos
en las puertas de Jerusalén.
3 Esta es la Nueva Jerusalén,
la ciudad que fue reconstruida como debe ser,
y ahora está muy unida.
4 A ella vienen las tribus del SEÑOR,
la comunidad entera de Israel,[a]
para alabar el nombre del SEÑOR;
tal como él lo ordenó.
5 Es aquí donde el descendiente de David
pone los tronos para juzgar a su pueblo.
6 Pidan en oración por la paz de Jerusalén:
«Que vivan en paz los que te aman.
7 Que haya paz dentro de tus murallas,
y tranquilidad en tus fortalezas».
8 Por el bien de mis hermanos y vecinos,
digo ahora: «Que haya paz en ti.
9 Por el bien del templo del SEÑOR nuestro Dios,
buscaré tu bienestar».

The Joy of Going to the House of the Lord
A Song of Ascents. Of David.
122 I was glad when they said to me,
(A)“Let us go into the house of the Lord.”
2 Our feet have been standing
Within your gates, O Jerusalem!
3 Jerusalem is built
As a city that is (B)compact together,
4 (C)Where the tribes go up,
The tribes of the Lord,
[a]To (D)the Testimony of Israel,
To give thanks to the name of the Lord.
5 (E)For thrones are set there for judgment,
The thrones of the house of David.
6 (F)Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.
7 Peace be within your walls,
Prosperity within your palaces.”
8 For the sake of my brethren and companions,
I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
9 Because of the house of the Lord our God
I will (G)seek your good.

the thrones of the house of David.
6 (H)Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
“May they be secure who love you!
7 Peace be within your (I)walls
and security within your (J)towers!”
8 For my brothers and companions' sake
I will say, (K)“Peace be within you!”
9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God,
