Salmo 54
Ang Pulong Sang Dios

Ang Dios amo ang Manugbulig

54 O Dios, luwasa ako;
paagi sa imo gahom pamatud-i nga wala ako sing sala.
2 Pamatii ang akon mga pangamuyo,
3 kay ang mga taga-iban nga lugar nagasalakay sa akon agod patyon ako.
Mga mapintas sila kag wala nagakilala sa imo.
4 Pero sigurado ako nga ikaw, O Dios, amo ang nagabulig sa akon.
Ikaw, Ginoo, ang akon salandigan.
5 Kabay pa nga ang kalautan nga ginahimo sang akon mga kaaway magabalik sa ila.
Sa imo katutom, O Dios, laglaga sila.

6 Ginoo, magahalad ako sa imo sang halad nga kinabubut-on.
Dayawon ko ikaw kay maayo ikaw.
7 Kay hilwayon mo gid ako sa tanan ko nga kalisod,
kag makita ko gid ang pagkapierdi sang akon mga kaaway.

Psalm 54[a]

For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A maskil[b] of David. When the Ziphites(A) had gone to Saul and said, “Is not David hiding among us?”

1 Save me(B), O God, by your name;(C)
    vindicate me by your might.(D)
2 Hear my prayer, O God;(E)
    listen to the words of my mouth.

3 Arrogant foes are attacking me;(F)
    ruthless people(G) are trying to kill me(H)—
    people without regard for God.[c](I)

4 Surely God is my help;(J)
    the Lord is the one who sustains me.(K)

5 Let evil recoil(L) on those who slander me;
    in your faithfulness(M) destroy them.

6 I will sacrifice a freewill offering(N) to you;
    I will praise(O) your name, Lord, for it is good.(P)
7 You have delivered me(Q) from all my troubles,
    and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.(R)

Answered Prayer for Deliverance from Adversaries

To the Chief Musician. With [a]stringed instruments. A [b]Contemplation of David (A)when the Ziphites went and said to Saul, “Is David not hiding with us?”

54 Save me, O God, by Your name,
And vindicate me by Your strength.
2 Hear my prayer, O God;
Give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers have risen up against me,
And oppressors have sought after my life;
They have not set God before them. Selah

4 Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is with those who [c]uphold my life.
5 He will repay my enemies for their evil.
[d]Cut them off in Your [e]truth.

6 I will freely sacrifice to You;
I will praise Your name, O Lord, for it is good.
7 For He has delivered me out of all trouble;
(B)And my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies.

54 1 David brought into great danger by reason of the Ziphites, 5 Calleth upon the Name of God to destroy his enemies, 6 Promising sacrifices and free offerings for so great deliverance.

To him that excelleth on Neginoth. A Psalm of David, to give instruction. When the Ziphims came and said unto Saul, (A)Is not David hid among us?

1 Save me, O God, [a]by thy Name, and by thy power judge me.

2 O God, hear my prayer: hearken unto the words of my mouth.

3 For [b]strangers are risen up against me, and [c]tyrants seek my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.

4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with [d]them that uphold my soul.

5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: Oh cut them off in thy [e]truth!

6 Then I will sacrifice [f]freely unto thee: I will praise thy Name, O Lord, because it is good.

7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble, and mine eye hath [g]seen my desire upon mine enemies.
