From Judah to David^(D)

³ The sons of ^(E)Judah were Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by the daughter of ^(F)Shua, the Canaanitess. ^(G)Er, the firstborn of Judah, was wicked in the sight of the Lord; so He killed him. ⁴ And ^(H)Tamar, his daughter-in-law, ^(I)bore him Perez and Zerah.
