²³ For the wages of ^(A)sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is ^(B)eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

⁵⁶ Now the sting of ^(A)death is sin, and ^(B)the power of sin is the law;

¹⁵ Then ^(A)when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when ^(B)sin is fully matured, it brings forth death.
