Romans 5:20-21

²⁰ Moreover, there the Law entered, so that offense might abound. Nevertheless, where sin abounded, grace abounded much more.

²¹ So that, as sin had reigned unto death, so also might grace reign by righteousness unto eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
