3 Since they are ignorant of the righteousness of God(A) and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted to God’s righteousness. 4 For Christ is the end[a] of the law for righteousness(B) to everyone who believes,(C) 5 since Moses writes about the righteousness that is from the law: The one who does these things will live by them.[b](D)

3 Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.(A) 4 Christ is the culmination of the law(B) so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.(C)
5 Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: “The person who does these things will live by them.”[a](D)
