Romans 1:3-7

³ concerning his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who was a descendant of David^[a](A) according to the flesh^{(B) 4} and was appointed to be the powerful^(C) Son of God^(D) according to the Spirit of holiness^[b] by the resurrection of the dead. ⁵ Through him we have received grace and apostleship^(E) to bring about^[c] the obedience^(F) of faith for the sake of his name among all the Gentiles,^{[d](G) 6} including you who are also called by Jesus Christ.^(H)

⁷ To all who are in Rome, loved by God,^(I) called^(J) as saints.^(K)
