21 Because that when they knew God, they [a]glorified him not as God, neither were thankful, but became [b]vain in their thoughts, and their foolish heart was full of darkness.
22 When they [c]professed themselves to be wise, they became fools.
23 For they turned the glory of the [d]incorruptible God to the similitude of the image of a corruptible man, and of birds, and four footed beasts, and of creeping things.
