8 Deci cei ce sunt pământeşti nu pot să placă lui Dumnezeu. 9 Voi însă nu mai sunteţi pământeşti, ci duhovniceşti, dacă Duhul(A) lui Dumnezeu locuieşte în adevăr în voi. Dacă n-are cineva Duhul(B) lui Hristos, nu este al Lui. 10 Şi dacă Hristos este în voi, trupul vostru, da, este supus morţii din pricina păcatului, dar duhul vostru este viu din pricina neprihănirii.

New International Version
8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh(A) cannot please God.
9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh(B) but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you.(C) And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ,(D) they do not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you,(E) then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life[a] because of righteousness.
