8 When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2 I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
3 Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand. 5 The angel took the censer, and he filled it with the fire of the altar, then threw it on the earth. Thunders, sounds, lightnings, and an earthquake followed.
6 The seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
7 The first sounded, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. One third of the earth was burned up,[a] and one third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
8 The second angel sounded, and something like a great burning mountain was thrown into the sea. One third of the sea became blood, 9 and one third of the living creatures which were in the sea died. One third of the ships were destroyed.
10 The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch, and it fell on one third of the rivers, and on the springs of water. 11 The name of the star is “Wormwood.” One third of the waters became wormwood. Many people died from the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 The fourth angel sounded, and one third of the sun was struck, and one third of the moon, and one third of the stars, so that one third of them would be darkened; and the day wouldn’t shine for one third of it, and the night in the same way. 13 I saw, and I heard an eagle,[b] flying in mid heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the other blasts of the trumpets of the three angels, who are yet to sound!”

8 羔 羊 揭 開 第 七 印 的 時 候 ， 天 上 寂 靜 約 有 二 刻 。
2 我 看 見 那 站 在 神 面 前 的 七 位 天 使 ， 有 七 枝 號 賜 給 他 們 。
3 另 有 一 位 天 使 ， 拿 著 金 香 爐 來 ， 站 在 祭 壇 旁 邊 。 有 許 多 香 賜 給 他 ， 要 和 眾 聖 徒 的 祈 禱 一 同 獻 在 寶 座 前 的 金 壇 上 。
4 那 香 的 煙 和 眾 聖 徒 的 祈 禱 從 天 使 的 手 中 一 同 升 到 神 面 前 。
5 天 使 拿 著 香 爐 ， 盛 滿 了 壇 上 的 火 ， 倒 在 地 上 ； 隨 有 雷 轟 、 大 聲 、 閃 電 、 地 震 。
6 拿 著 七 枝 號 的 七 位 天 使 就 預 備 要 吹 。
7 第 一 位 天 使 吹 號 ， 就 有 雹 子 與 火 攙 著 血 丟 在 地 上 ； 地 的 三 分 之 一 和 樹 的 三 分 之 一 被 燒 了 ， 一 切 的 青 草 也 被 燒 了 。
8 第 二 位 天 使 吹 號 ， 就 有 彷 彿 火 燒 著 的 大 山 扔 在 海 中 ； 海 的 三 分 之 一 變 成 血 ，
9 海 中 的 活 物 死 了 三 分 之 一 ， 船 隻 也 壞 了 三 分 之 一 。
10 第 三 位 天 使 吹 號 ， 就 有 燒 著 的 大 星 ， 好 像 火 把 從 天 上 落 下 來 ， 落 在 江 河 的 三 分 之 一 和 眾 水 的 泉 源 上 。
11 這 星 名 叫 茵 蔯 。 眾 水 的 三 分 之 一 變 為 茵 蔯 ； 因 水 變 苦 ， 就 死 了 許 多 人 。
12 第 四 位 天 使 吹 號 ， 日 頭 的 三 分 之 一 ， 月 亮 的 三 分 之 一 、 星 辰 的 三 分 之 一 都 被 擊 打 ， 以 致 日 月 星 的 三 分 之 一 黑 暗 了 ， 白 晝 的 三 分 之 一 沒 有 光 ， 黑 夜 也 是 這 樣 。
13 我 又 看 見 一 個 鷹 飛 在 空 中 ， 並 聽 見 他 大 聲 說 ： 三 位 天 使 要 吹 那 其 餘 的 號 。 你 們 住 在 地 上 的 民 ， 禍 哉 ！ 禍 哉 ！ 禍 哉 ！

The Seventh Seal and the Golden Censer
8 When he opened the seventh seal,(A) there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels(B) who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.(C)
3 Another angel,(D) who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people,(E) on the golden altar(F) in front of the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God(G) from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar,(H) and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder,(I) rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake.(J)
The Trumpets
6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets(K) prepared to sound them.
7 The first angel(L) sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire(M) mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third(N) of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.(O)
8 The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain,(P) all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third(Q) of the sea turned into blood,(R) 9 a third(S) of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky(T) on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water(U)— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood.[a] A third(V) of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.(W)
12 The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third(X) of them turned dark.(Y) A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.(Z)
13 As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair(AA) call out in a loud voice: “Woe! Woe! Woe(AB) to the inhabitants of the earth,(AC) because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!”

8 When(A) He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2 (B)And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, (C)and to them were given seven trumpets. 3 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with (D)the prayers of all the saints upon (E)the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And (F)the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. 5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And (G)there were noises, thunderings, (H)lightnings, (I)and an earthquake.
6 So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
First Trumpet: Vegetation Struck
7 The first angel sounded: (J)And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown (K)to the [a]earth. And a third (L)of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
Second Trumpet: The Seas Struck
8 Then the second angel sounded: (M)And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, (N)and a third of the sea (O)became blood. 9 (P)And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
Third Trumpet: The Waters Struck
10 Then the third angel sounded: (Q)And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, (R)and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11 (S)The name of the star is Wormwood. (T)A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.
Fourth Trumpet: The Heavens Struck
12 (U)Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day [b]did not shine, and likewise the night.
13 And I looked, (V)and I heard an [c]angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, (W)“Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”

8 Y CUANDO él abrió el séptimo sello, fué hecho silencio en el cielo casi por media hora.
2 Y vi los siete ángeles que estaban delante de Dios; y les fueron dadas siete trompetas.
3 Y otro ángel vino, y se paró delante del altar, teniendo un incensario de oro; y le fué dado mucho incienso para que lo añadiese á las oraciones de todos los santos sobre el altar de oro que estaba delante del trono.
4 Y el humo del incienso subió de la mano del ángel delante de Dios, con las oraciones de los santos.
5 Y el ángel tomó el incensario, y lo llenó del fuego del altar, y echólo en la tierra; y fueron hechos truenos y voces y relámpagos y terremotos.
6 Y los siete ángeles que tenían las siete trompetas, se aparejaron para tocar.
7 Y el primer ángel tocó la trompeta, y fué hecho granizo y fuego, mezclado con sangre, y fueron arrojados á la tierra; y la tercera parte de los árboles fué quemada, y quemóse toda la hierba verde.
8 Y el segundo ángel tocó la trompeta, y como un grande monte ardiendo con fuego fué lanzado en la mar; y la tercera parte de la mar se tornó en sangre.
9 Y murió la tercera parte de las criaturas que estaban en la mar, las cuales tenían vida; y la tercera parte de los navíos pereció.
10 Y el tercer ángel tocó la trompeta, y cayó del cielo una grande estrella, ardiendo como una antorcha, y cayó en la tercera parte de los ríos, y en las fuentes de las aguas.
11 Y el nombre de la estrella se dice Ajenjo. Y la tercera parte de las aguas fué vuelta en ajenjo: y muchos murieron por las aguas, porque fueron hechas amargas.
12 Y el cuarto ángel tocó la trompeta, y fué herida la tercera parte del sol, y la tercera parte de la luna, y la tercera parte de las estrellas; de tal manera que se oscureció la tercera parte de ellos, y no alumbraba la tercera parte del día, y lo mismo de la noche.
13 Y miré, y oí un ángel volar por medio del cielo, diciendo en alta voz: ¡Ay! ¡ay! ¡ay! de los que moran en la tierra, por razón de las otras voces de trompeta de los tres ángeles que han de tocar!
