14 And the wall of the city had (A)twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the (B)twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 The one who spoke with me had a [a]gold measuring (C)rod to measure the city, and its (D)gates and its wall. 16 The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city with the [b]rod, [c]fifteen hundred miles; its length and width and height are equal.

15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod(C) of gold to measure the city, its gates(D) and its walls. 16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia[a] in length, and as wide and high as it is long.
