Revelation 17:13-18

New International Version

¹³ They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast.^{(A) 14} They will wage war^(B) against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over^(C) them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings^(D)—and with him will be his called, chosen^(E) and faithful followers.”

¹⁵ Then the angel said to me, “The waters^(F) you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.^{(G) 16} The beast and the ten horns^(H) you saw will hate the prostitute.^(I) They will bring her to ruin^(J) and leave her naked;^(K) they will eat her flesh^(L) and burn her with fire.^{(M) 17} For God has put it into their hearts^(N) to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority,^(O) until God’s words are fulfilled.^{(P) 18} The woman you saw is the great city^(Q) that rules over the kings of the earth.”
