Revelation 16:4-6

⁴And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

⁵And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

⁶For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

⁴The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water,^(A) and they became blood.^(B) ⁵Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:

“You are just in these judgments,^(C) O Holy One,^(D)
you who are and who were;^(E)
⁶for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets,^(F)
and you have given them blood to drink^(G) as they deserve.”
