Revelation 13:12-14
New English Translation
12 He[a] exercised all the ruling authority[b] of the first beast on his behalf,[c] and made the earth and those who inhabit it worship the first beast, the one whose lethal wound had been healed. 13 He[d] performed momentous signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in front of people[e] 14 and, by the signs he was permitted to perform on behalf of the beast, he deceived those who live on the earth. He told[f] those who live on the earth to make an image to the beast who had been wounded by the sword, but still lived.

12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, (A)whose deadly wound was healed. 13 (B)He performs great signs, (C)so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 (D)And he deceives [a]those who dwell on the earth (E)by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword (F)and lived.
