13 And I saw a beast rise out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns. And upon his horns were ten crowns. And upon his head, the name of Blasphemy.

² And the beast which I saw was like a leopard; and his feet like a bear; and his mouth as the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne, and great authority.

³ And I saw one of his heads (as it were) mortally wounded. But his deadly wound was healed. And all the world wondered and followed the beast.

⁴ And they worshipped the dragon, who gave power to the beast. And they worshipped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast!? Who is able to make war with him!?”

⁵ And there was given to him a mouth that spoke great things and blasphemies. And power was given to him lasting 42 months.

⁶ And he opened his mouth to blaspheme God; to blaspheme His Name and His Tabernacle and those who dwell in Heaven.

⁷ And it was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. And power was given to him over every tribe and tongue and nation.

⁸ Therefore, all who dwell upon the Earth whose names are not written in the Book of Life by the Lamb, Who was slain from the beginning of the world, shall worship him.

⁹ If anyone has an ear, let him hear.

¹⁰ “If anyone is led into captivity, he shall go into captivity. If anyone kills with a sword, he must be killed by a sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.”

¹¹ And I beheld another beast coming out of the Earth which had two horns like the Lamb, but spoke like the dragon.

¹² And he did all that the first beast could do before him. And he caused the Earth and those who dwell therein to worship the first beast (whose mortal wound was healed).

¹³ And he did great wonders; so that he made fire come down from Heaven on the Earth, in the sight of man.

¹⁴ And he deceived those who dwell on the Earth by the signs which were permitted to him to do in the sight of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the Earth that they should make the image of the beast, which had the wound of a sword and had lived.

¹⁵ And it was permitted to him to give a spirit to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast should speak and should cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

¹⁶ And he made all - both small and great, rich and poor, free and enslaved - receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads;

¹⁷ so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.

¹⁸ Here is wisdom: Let him who has understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. And his number is 666.

⁸ The beast that you have seen was and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit; and shall go into perdition. And those who dwell on the Earth - whose names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world - shall wonder when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

²⁴ ‘And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall rise. And another shall rise after them. And he shall be unlike the first. And he shall subdue three kings;

² to not waver suddenly in your mind or be troubled by spirit or word or letter which seems to come from us, as though the day of Christ were at hand.

³ Let no one deceive you in any way. For that Day shall not come unless an apostasy comes first and the man of sin is revealed - the Son of Perdition -

⁴ who is an adversary and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sits as God, in the Temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

⁵ Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things?

⁶ And now you know what is restrained, so that he might be revealed in his time.

⁷ For the mystery of iniquity is already at work. He who is now restrained shall be so only until He is taken out of the way.

⁸ And then that wicked man shall be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth and abolish with the brightness of His coming;

⁹ that is, whose coming is by the working of Satan (with all power and signs and lying wonders)

¹⁰ and in all deceit of unrighteousness among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth (so that they might be saved).

¹¹ And therefore, God shall send them strong delusion, so that they would believe lies,

¹² so that all who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness might be damned.

¹⁴ But to the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly into the wilderness; into her place where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

¹⁵ And the serpent cast water after the woman - out of his mouth, like a flood - so that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood,

¹⁶ But the Earth helped the woman. And the Earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had cast out of his mouth.

³⁸ Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the Burnt Offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the ditch.
