⁵ And out from the throne come flashes of lightning and rumblings and clashes of thunder^[a]—and seven torches of fire burning before the throne,^[b] which are the seven spirits of God.

⁶ And in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, I saw a Lamb standing, as having been slain—having seven horns and seven eyes,^[a] which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
