Then I began to weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. And one of the elders *said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the (A)Lion that is (B)from the tribe of Judah, the (C)Root of David, has overcome so as to be able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

And I saw [a]between the throne (with the four living creatures) and (D)the elders a (E)Lamb standing, as if (F)slaughtered, having seven (G)horns and (H)seven eyes, which are [b](I)the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. And He came and took (J)the scroll out of the right hand of Him who (K)sat on the throne. When He had taken the scroll, the (L)four living creatures and the (M)twenty-four elders (N)fell down before the (O)Lamb, each one holding a (P)harp and (Q)golden bowls full of incense, which are the (R)prayers of the [c]saints. And they *sang a (S)new song, saying,

(T)Worthy are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were (U)slaughtered, and You (V)purchased people for God with Your blood from (W)every tribe, language, people, and nation.

10 You have made them into a (X)kingdom and (Y)priests to our God, and they will (Z)reign upon the earth.”

Angels Exalt the Lamb

11 Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels (AA)around the throne and the (AB)living creatures and the (AC)elders; and the number of them was [d](AD)myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice,

(AE)Worthy is the (AF)Lamb that was (AG)slaughtered to receive power, wealth, wisdom, might, honor, glory, and blessing.”

13 And I heard (AH)every created thing which is in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, or on the sea, and all the things in them, saying,

“To Him who (AI)sits on the throne and to the (AJ)Lamb (AK)be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion forever and ever.”

14 And the (AL)four living creatures were saying, “(AM)Amen.” And the (AN)elders (AO)fell down and worshiped.
